Devoran Pilot Gig Club is governed by its Constitution, amendments to which are made only by agreement at the AGM.

In addition to the Constitution, which includes a number of operational and procedural Appendices, use of DPGC boats is also subject to the Rowing Procedure (Use of DPGC Boats) document. This document originated during the Covid pandemic and has been found to be an effective means of taking into account a variety of information sources which are updated from time to time. Such sources include guidance from external sources such as government and CPGA as well as updates which may be determined by risk assessment.
